Northamptonshire Country Centre is a friendly, supportive environment, helping adults with learning difficulties to work, learn, make friends, and gain experience in horticulture, agriculture, basic skills and technical skills.
The Centre caters for the needs of adults, both women and men, of all ages with learning difficulties.
What are our aims?
We are here to help people: gain useful experience in a variety of meaningful work opportunities, develop their independent living skills, develop their social skills, interact with others in the local business and residential communities, gain confidence to “move on”, live a happy and fulfilled life
What do we do?
We do lots of varied activities, for example: growing and selling vegetables, plants, flowers and hay, making hanging baskets, making bird feeders, informal meal preparation, relaxing with other clients, carers, staff and volunteers in the TV lounge, or playing pool
Full time or part time?
You can attend for however many days in the week you like. Most clients attend for several full days, but you can attend for half a day.
