Service description:
The aim of the NC TLC Trust charity is to help to support the entire family living with cancers. We want to give our families some ‘parent and child’ time, away from the chaos. We want to bring together parents and children facing the same difficulties to share their experience in the same situation – so they know they are NOT alone!

What we provide:
Help filling in important documents, and advising you on entitlements and benefits
Information packs
A community to draw upon
Relief when you need it
Days out, christmas parties, horse riding, fund raisers, to look forward to
Travel costs to and from Hospital, parking cost
Accommodation nearby hospitals

Also now we provide TLC Pods, the new “TLC Family Hospital Bags” for families on wards containing emergency kits, such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, shaving foam, razor and so on

Counselling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy

Cranial Osteopathy for children to help them release the stress and strain from the body after gruelling treatments (it helps with balance issues etc)

Impartial opinions on all matters

A shoulder to cry on

The time away for the family in our charity caravan

We are constantly adding to the services we provide.

We are always looking for new ways how we could improve the emotional wellbeing of our families.
