Service description:
Towcester Mencap Gateway Club is a leisure club offering fun, friendship and activities for adults with learning disabilities together with a regular evening break for carers and families. They meet every Thursday evening from 7 – 9pm at Olympus Riverside Resource Centre, Islington Road, Towcester NN12 6AU.

Summer activities include horse riding, a ride in a narrow boat and a walk and picnic at Salcey Forrest. Summer always ends with a barbeque. In the winter, activities are usually based at the Riverside Resource Centre and include yoga, dancing, cheese and wine or musical evenings.

We have about 25 members of all ages who regularly attend and who come from Towcester and surrounding villages.

The next meeting is on 4th September at Riverside Resource Centre when we will be decorating fairy cakes.
