Service description:
The Happenin’ Project is an after school and holiday activities programme for 8– 13 year olds within the Borough of Corby. We have been running since July 2002 through partnership funding from the Northamptonshire Children’s Fund (up until 2010). We are now funded by Corby Borough Council.

We aim to increase participation in recreational activities, such as arts and crafts and football, and raise social awareness issues. This can be done informally by our own project leaders or by arranging for professional bodies to come and visit our sessions.

We provide fun activities for children and young people during term time (see Activity timetable) at various sites in the Borough and have organised trips and events during holiday periods, such as ice skating, bowling, theme parks and residentials.
