Type of service:
Groups, Clubs And Activities
Address:
Victoria Road, Drill Hall, Rushden, Northamptonshire, NN10 0AS
Service description:
Simply the best - that's the Sea Cadets, the number one youth charity based on Britain's Senior Service -- the Royal Navy. And right here at Rushden Division we can really make your day with an action packed programme from boating and sailing to canoeing, sports and adventure training. You'll make new friends and be part of a great team.

What do we aim to do?

Give you the best fun you've ever had - with a serious side too. Along the way we'll teach you life skills from cookery to computers, engineering, navigation and the art of seamanship. Much of training is practical and on the water in boats! A great way to spend your free time!

All units will do their very best to accommodate any children with special needs. The unit will take cadets on board with special needs subject to the restrictions bounding the individuals personal safety and the safety of others. Please speak to the Commanding Officer if you have a child that requires special attention.

We do have cadets with learning difficulties, ADHD and other disorders. We request that any special requirements are made clear on the cadets joining form SCC Form P10 and on the SCCT1 should the cadet participate in activities outside of the unit
