Service description:
Book Trust is the largest reading charity in the UK. We work to inspire a love of reading in children and families because we know that reading can transform lives. Our website includes book recommendations, advice and activities for children (and adults!) of all ages. Find out more at www.booktrust.org.uk

Reading for pleasure has a dramatic impact on educational outcomes, well-being and social mobility, and is also a huge pleasure in itself. We run a range of programmes and initiatives designed to start children on their reading journey and inspire them throughout. For example, the Bookstart programme is proven to help children develop language and literacy skills for starting school, while the Letterbox Club has helped to improve the reading and number skills for many children in care.
