We welcome students of all ages and abilities and focus on helping you to decide on the best type of study, whether you would benefit from studying vocational subjects or following an academic course.

The Additional Support Team If you have disabilities or additional needs, we want you to know you’ll be well supported by the College. Our Additional Support Team is here to offer help and guidance, whether you have health problems, learning difficulties, dyslexia, physical or learning disabilities or problems with reading, writing or Mathematics.

Students with learning difficulties or disabilities We’ll make all reasonable adjustments to our provision, ensuring that students with learning difficulties or disabilities are not disadvantaged on our sites. Contact the Additional Support Team on 01604 734321.

We strive to ensure our deaf and hearing impaired students are given equal access to college life and the curriculum to achieve their full potential.
Our dedicated communication support workers assist our deaf and hearing impaired students in all aspects of college life by:
•Providing sign language translation in either British Sign Language (BSL) or (Signed Supported English (SSE) for students in lessons
•Taking notes for students
•Offering extra support for students outside of lessons (for example help with assignments, modifying course materials)
•Sign language support during enrichment activities
Our communication support workers are qualified in BSL at Level 2, 3 and above
You will have the chance to meet with a Hearing Impairment Practitioner when you apply for a course to discuss the level of support you will need.
Once you have started, our practitioner will continually monitor your needs and make any changes if necessary.
