Service description:
Billing Brook is an all age special school for pupils aged 3 - 19 with a wide range of learning difficulties. This includes moderate or severe learning difficulties; speech, language and communication needs; some medical difficulties and an all age specialist Autism provision.

Billing Brook also has two Satellite Provisions based in local mainstream schools, Abbeyfield Satellite for 11-16 pupils who are able to integrate into a mainstream curriculum with support and The Grange, based in Daventry for pupils with autism.

One highly specialist area of the school is its discrete Autism provision for pupils aged 4–18. Within this department all pupils have significant autism; learning difficulties and many are non verbal. The school believes that a flexible range of techniques and strategies need to be used to ensure that all pupils can access the curriculum.

The school delivers a rich, creative, practical curriculum, with an emphasis on the development of all life skills. The curriculum is significantly modified, differentiated and constantly reviewed to make sure it meets the needs of all pupils.

We believe that our children deserve not only the best teaching, but also the most creative opportunities through the curriculum, working with other schools and in partnership with yourselves.

You are very welcome to contact the school to arrange a visit and find out more.
