Service description:
Headlands provide a rich and relevant curriculum focusing on interesting and challenging tasks alongside practical and varied experiences. All children are helped to grow in confidence to work independently and to develop self-esteem and self-discipline.

In Nursery and Reception, all children learn through structured, exploratory play, and have the opportunity to experience a range of stimulating and fun activities. From Year 1, children follow the subjects of the National Curriculum and, in addition, our older children are taught French.

They have excellent resources and facilities at the school, which support the children’s learning, including an extensive library, computer suite, interactive whiteboards in all classrooms, and a swimming pool.

This school has a SEN Resourced Provision providing education, support and facilities for 26 children with statements/EHC plans. The provision caters for pupils with severe and significant learning and communication difficulties (including autism).
