The closing date for secondary school applications has now passed

You can still make a late application for September 2016

5 May 2016 - Secondary admissions update: Northampton town

The School Admissions Team would like to apologise for the delay in processing late applications received for year 7 places for September 2016 within Northampton town.

We are currently awaiting confirmation from the Education Funding Agency regarding the availability of places at the two new free schools that are due to open in the town this September – Northampton International Academy and Wootton Park Free School. The two new free schools will add 300 extra year 7 places and this will allow a greater proportion of parents to be offered a higher preference. We expect to be able to begin processing applications in the week beginning 16 May.
