​Millbrook Infant School, Churchill Way, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN15 5BZ

Oversubscription criteria

Following the admission of children with a statement of special educational needs which names the school as appropriate provision, the following criteria will be used.

  1. Children in public care or previously in public care but immediately after being looked after became subject to an adoption, residence or special guardianship order
  2. Where the child has a brother or sister currently attending the school or the linked Junior School at the time of admission.
  3. Proximity of the child’s permanent or main address, measured in a straight line from the school, with those living nearer being accorded the higher priority.

Tiebreaker

In the event of oversubscription within any criterion, places will be allocated on the basis of proximity.

Distances will be determined by the local authority measured on a straight line basis using a geographical information system.
