La Leche League Great Britain is an organisation of mothers who have breastfed their own babies and wish to pass on help and information to mothers wishing to breastfeed. They are accredited by La Leche League International.
If you are
• Already breastfeeding and want help with particular challenges
• Expecting a baby and want to know more about breastfeeding
• Hoping to meet other breastfeeding mums
• Breastfeeding a toddler and feel isolated
• Interested in reading more about breastfeeding, birth and parenting
• Looking for accurate information on starting solids or weaning

All women, toddlers and babies welcome
La Leche League is an international, non-profit, nonsectarian organisation dedicated to providing support, encouragement, information, and education to women who want to breastfeed. LLLGB is a registered charity affiliated to la Leche League International - the world’s largest source of breastfeeding information.

Anyone can contact a La Leche League leader in the UK by calling 0845 120 2918 from a land line (local rate call). You may get through to a leader anywhere in the UK. However, she will have details of your nearest group.
