Service description:
The Northamptonshire Dyslexia Association (NDA) is a local Dyslexia Association based in Northampton serving towns including Corby, Daventry, Kettering, Rushden, Northampton, Oundle, Towcester, Wellingborough and villages located in Northamptonshire.

Our aim is to support the needs of dyslexic children and young people in the education sector and adults in the workplace. We offer advice and guidance to parents, partners and friends of dyslexics. We also work closely with a number of local employers to raise awareness of dyslexia within the world of work.

We maintain a list of qualified dyslexia tutors and assessors.

As an Association we are active in raising dyslexia awareness in the workplace and have arranged events to promote understanding in local businesses. We have also provided information desks offering advice within libraries throughout Northamptonshire.

We have successfully obtained funding that has assisted with the development of this website and investment in specialised resources for use by tutors.

Our current projects include re-launching the Adult Support Group and establishing a Parents' Group.

The NDA is affiliated to the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) and forms part of a network of almost 100 local Dyslexia Associations throughout the UK. We work closely in partnership with the BDA.

We offer a variety of services to our members including the following:-
