The Daventry Food Bank was started with a view to provide emergency/essential food supplies until other parts of the social care infrastructure come in to play. Though the Food Bank in Daventry has only been in operation in its current form since the beginning of 2010, we have already been called on to assist scores of families and individuals who have found themselves at a place where they simply have nothing to feed themselves or their children.
