Service description:
Welcome to Moylan School of Dance, a ballet school in Brackley of approximately 180 pupils from the age of 3 years to 18 years. The classes are taught by Gabrielle Butler ARAD, LRAD, AISTD in the spacious facilities of Waynflete Infants School.

Moylan School of Dance is a traditional ballet school which offers a warm, friendly environment in which your child will learn classical ballet, with all of its poise, grace and discipline together with an emphasis upon musical development and fun. All our classes are accompanied by an experienced pianist.

The ballet syllabus taught is that of The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and pupils are entered for the Academy’s examinations from the age of six. The school aims to provide a fun class, which stretches your child’s imagination, broadens their social skills as well as encouraging each child to reach their full potential. The school has an excellent examination result record, with most students achieving Distinction or Merit grades.

As well as our ballet work, the pupils enjoy regular performance opportunities. We stage our whole school productions and perform locally. We hold theatre workshops and choreography events. For performance events the students learn other dance styles such as modern/jazz, national dance and dance drama, so they can really express themselves.

Students are encouraged to audition for suitable organisations and full time training and several students have been accepted by The Royal Ballet Associates, London Children’s Ballet, London Studio Centre, National Youth Ballet, Bird College, Elmhurst Ballet School, Tring Park (formerly Arts Educational School), Central School of Ballet, London Senior Ballet and English Youth Ballet.
