Service description:
Special Educational Needs (SEN) are identified through regular observation of the children. Progress is reviewed by observations, IEPs and play plans. Parents can take part in assessment and review at meetings. Children with SEN are integrated with mainstream but may also have some 1:1 sessions. We may adapt activities or employ extra staff if required. Understanding and experienced staff ensure that children with SEN can engage in the same activities as the whole group. If a child finds change difficult, extra support is available to help children settle into their new environment.

This Preschool Playgroup has confirmed how they support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The statement is available via the Local Offer or you can contact the provider or the Local Offer Team for more information.
