They may have refused to let adversity define who they are. They might have overcome obstacles or barriers. They may have made some brave choices in their life. Tell us their story.
This award is open for young people aged 11 to 22 years.

The deadline for submitting nominations has now passed. Thank to you everyone who has taken the time to put someone forward. The judging is now underway and the winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on 29th June.
Last year's winner - Skye Wheeler
Skye, 16, has battled a serious eye condition which resulted in numerous hospital stays and has been diagnosed with the chronic condition ME. Despite these challenges, she achieved good GCSE grades and has started an apprenticeship as an assistant pharmacist.
