Directions to Booth Meadow House and how to access the building

  1. From the Lumbertubs Way Interchange, take the slope down Ferris Way onto the retail park.
  2. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Fairground Way.
  3. Then take the first left onto Museum Way.
  4. Follow Museum Way right to the end, where you will see security gates ahead of you and the Booth Meadow House / County Council sign.
  5. Please approach the gates and press the intercom call button on the right hand side.
  6. Once you are through the gates, please turn right then left, which will bring you to the visitors' parking at the front of the building. There is ample free parking on site.
  7. Please press the call button on the intercom at the front door for entry.
  8. Turn left and go upstairs to reception on the first floor and sign in. HPRU staff will come and meet you at reception.

Unfortunately there is no passenger lift to the first floor, so disabled access is restricted. If you have any difficulties accessing the building or using stairs, please let HPRU staff know before your visit and we will try to help. Upon leaving you will need to sign out again at reception.

Please note that the security gates do not open automatically on the way out - you will need to press the intercom call button again.
