Northamptonshire Highways

A508 Boughton Roundabout

From 29 March 2016 to 6 June 2016 multiple contractors and utility companies will be undertaking works associated with the Buckton Fields development.

The works include improvements to the footway in and out of the development and the roundabout.

Traffic management and possible delays

The junction will be under 24 hour, 4 way temporary traffic signals.

These are major works and will have a relatively significant impact on the travelling public. Road users are being advised to avoid the route if possible or allow extra time for journeys.

To help minimise congestion during the works the lights will be manually operated during peak hours and as the works progress the lights will move along the road and again will be manually operated during peak hours.

We are working proactively with the many contractors and utility companies who are involved and we are having regular co-ordination meetings and programme meetings to try to ensure, where possible, that there will be minimum disruption to the public.
