Promotional paragraph- Reasons why you should use the Get Involved Hub

The Get Involved Campaign commenced in 2014 and is aimed at encouraging the people of Northamptonshire to become more actively engaged with their local communities through volunteering.

The first phase of the Get Involved Hub was launched in February 2015, with a wide variety of Northamptonshire County Council volunteering opportunities being made accessible online. These included roles within Libraries, Schools, Country Parks, Northamptonshire Sports, Archives and Heritage and Emergency Planning Services.

Since then, many other service organisations and charities have used the hub as a vehicle through which their own volunteer opportunities can be made accessible to a wider audience.

The latest phase of the development of the hub was completed in the summer of 2016 and the site now offers a dynamic and user-friendly resource for both volunteer-based organisations and those people looking for new volunteering opportunities.
