Terms and conditions for organisations

By posting your volunteering opportunity on this website you agree that it is in compliance with the guidelines listed below:

  • The opportunity is based within Northamptonshire
  • The advert is for a current and legitimate voluntary opportunity
  • The opportunity is suitably worded, with no inappropriate language, illegal or offensive content

Northamptonshire County Council reserves the right to:

  • Reject any opportunity in violation of our guidelines in order to maintain content appropriate for our general audience
  • Modify an opportunity, to a reasonable extent that includes spelling and/or style, but will refer the opportunity back to the organisation if matters of content and meaning need to be changed
  • Remove any adverts from the website immediately that we deem to be out of date

Final decisions about the acceptability of the content of opportunities on the Northamptonshire Get Involved Hub remain with Northamptonshire County Council. You will receive notification of any opportunities that have been removed or made inactive.

​By registering and posting an opportunity on the Northamptonshire Get Involved Hub you agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the content of the advert
  • The opportunity is a current and legitimate voluntary opportunity
  • You will respond to any applications made to your organisation to volunteer within a reasonable time (within 10 working days)
  • Northamptonshire County Council is not responsible for the content of any applications made to the opportunity provider

​We may collect personal and organisational information from you when you register an opportunity. This information will be used as follows:

  • To process and advertise your opportunity online
  • To send you applications made by potential volunteers. No contact details for organisations will be posted on the Northamptonshire Get Involved Hub as applications submitted by potential volunteers will be sent by email automatically from this site
  • To get in touch to discuss your opportunities and the Northamptonshire Get Involved Hub
  • To report on the availability of voluntary opportunities in Northamptonshire

Any information you submit to the Northamptonshire Get Involved Hub will be dealt with in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998).
